Luca Cattaneo was born in Varese (Italy).<\/p>\n
He studied Architecture at Politecnico di Milano and Universit\u00e4t Dortmund Fakult\u00e4t Bauwesen (Germany). \nHis professional career began in Germany with a young growing architect\u2019s studio (ARCHITEKTURB\u00dcRO KFD) where he worked before and after graduation (1998). Luca chose the Dissertation subject \u201cCity Library of Dortmund\u201d, under the supervision of MAX DUDLER<\/strong>. Luca also served as assistant professor of Architecture Planning at Politecnico di Milano.
\nHe participated to International Competitions and building projects at GIANCARLO<\/strong> DE CARLO studio in Milan.
\nHe spent two years in Paris working for ADP \u2012 A\u00e9roports de Paris led by architect PAUL ANDREU<\/strong> on the renewal of Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle-Terminal 1.
\nIn 2004 he started his own architecture practice (residential, interiors, showrooms-shops, exposition areas, fair stands, offices buildings, public buildings, major sports events), while simultaneously working as a free-lance consultant for various architects studios and societies.
\nHe has been a consultant for BLAST<\/strong> s.r.l. in Milan on the completion of different buildings at JEAN NOUVEL<\/strong>\u2019s “Kilometrorosso” in Bergamo and other projects in Italy and Europe.
\nHe has worked as a consultant for GL EVENTS<\/strong>\u00a0on different Major Sports Events: Cricket World Cup 2007 in the West Indies, Hong Kong Test Events 2007, Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, 2009 13th FINA World Championship, Internazionali d\u2019Italia Roma ATP Tour 2009, FIFA Confederation Cup 2009 South Africa, FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa, Commonwealth Games 2010 in Delhi, AFC Asian Cup 2011 in Qatar, African Cup of Nations 2012 in Gabon and London Olympic Games 2012. He collaborated with DOMINIQUE GRENIER ARCHITECTURE<\/strong>, Geneva based architects’ studio.<\/p>\n
